We're on board!

What do I do in case of burns, a tick bite or poisoning? And above all: How can I help others in an emergency? The child-friendly answers to these questions have been provided by the Förderverein Notfallmedizin Bielefeld e.V. Luftrettungsstation Christoph 13 and K&L Verlag to create an easy-to-understand workbook for girls and boys of primary school age. We think it's simply a great idea!

That's why we support the project

The book, with lots of pictures to colour in, playfully teaches the skills needed to provide first aid in an emergency. It tells the story of the siblings Mario and Olivia, who, together with their dachshund Waldi, guide readers through various episodes. Over 32 pages, they provide tips and advice on burns, heatstroke, tick bites, poisoning and shock. This way, children receive age-appropriate knowledge on how to behave in an emergency and call for help. At the same time, teachers, educators and parents can discuss and practise the illustrations with the children. With the help of many local companies, the colouring and workbooks can be given out to primary school children in the district of Soest free of charge. This is a commitment that we are very happy to support.
